Again today I heard it:
“But doc, I don’t have TIME to exercise. I’m just too busy!”
Baloney. Making the time to do things FOR your health is either a priority or it’s not. I reminded the patient that we all have the same number of hours in a week, and what we CHOOSE to spend our time doing will ultimately lead to what we manifest in our lives.
I’ve heard it said that “you either make time for health now; or you’ll be forced to make time for illness later.”
While I agree with the general principle, the truth is that you absolutely can live without making healthy choices. The world is full of people that don’t get adjusted, don’t exercise and don’t eat well – they are still ‘alive.’ But, they just aren’t ‘fully alive.’
Today I read this great short article about not having enough time to train for a triathlon. Well, while you might not have such a race as your personal goal, the author’s commentary and solutions about time apply to us all. Enjoy the article at the link below!
